On March 19, 2026, the St. Joseph the Husband of Mary Mission Station in Sandoval, Taytay, Palawan joyfully celebrated its patronal fiesta in honor of its patron, St. Joseph. The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Anthony Morillo, OAR, concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Reno Villalino, OAR, together with other priests from the Vicariate of Taytay.
In his homily, Fr. Morillo highlighted two significant aspects of St. Joseph’s life: first, his role as a faithful protector of both the Church and the family; and second, his witness as a humble and ordinary man who responded with extraordinary obedience to God’s will.
Following the Eucharistic celebration, Fr. Morillo and Fr. Villalino made a brief pastoral visit to the community of Casian, further strengthening their connection with the faithful.
The celebration and visit left a meaningful and lasting impression on the people of Sandoval, affirming their identity as part of the wider Recollect community. Indeed, the occasion became a memorable and grace-filled experience for the faithful of the St. Joseph the Husband of Mary Mission Station.
