In its 10th year, the “Dungaw” event of Inay Carmel De San Sebastian to Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno
manifests not only the bond between the Mother of God and her Son, but also the Filipino people’s undying faith
and devotion to Jesus, the King, and to the Blessed Mother. This year’s Traslacion drew an estimated 9.64 million devotees and set a record-breaking 30-hour procession.

The 2026 Feast of Nazareno carries the theme “Dapat Siyang Tumaas at Ako Nama’y Bumaba,” calling the Filipino faithful to experience and embrace Jesus’ presence amidst tribulations, sufferings, and hopes for the nation. Through the intercession of Blessed Mary, the Mother of God, Jesus’ presence lives in our call to holiness and devotion, inviting us to configure our hearts and lives to Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno.
