A Night of Light, Faith, and Heritage for Talisay City

As part of the 28th Pasidungog Festival and the Charter Day Anniversary of the City of Talisay, we joyfully invite all Talisaynons to be part of a truly special moment — the Lights On Ceremony of San Nicolas de Tolentino Parish-Recoletos on February 9, 2026 at 6:30 PM.

This night is made even more meaningful through the partnership of the City Government of Talisay, Negros Power Corporation, and the Diocesan Shrine of San Vicente Ferrer – San Nicolas de Tolentino Parish-Recoletos. It is a beautiful reminder of what we can achieve when faith, culture, and service come together for the good of our community.
More than just lighting up our church, this event celebrates our rich heritage and shared identity. It is part of the cultural heritage programs of Mayor Maria Rowena Guadalupe Lopez-Lizares, aimed at preserving our treasured landmarks and strengthening Talisay’s growing tourism industry. As a proud member of the Province of Negros Cultural Hub, our parish continues to stand as a symbol of history, devotion, and unity for the people of Talisay.
Let us come together as one family and witness our beloved parish church glow in new light — a sign of hope, gratitude, and our promise to honor the past while building a brighter future.
Bring your family and friends. Count down with us. Take photos. Share the moment.
Together, let us light up our faith, our heritage, and our city. 🌟
