The National Encounter of Augustinian Recollect Youth will be held from May 23 to 25 in Santa Fe, as part of the centenary of the Recollect presence in the country.
Recoletos Music has officially presented “I Will Sing”, the anthem for the upcoming National Encounter of Augustinian Recollect Youth (ENJAR), which will take place on May 23, 24 and 25 in Santa Fe (Argentina). The song was born as an expression of faith, communion and joy among JAR youth at a particularly significant moment: the first centenary of the presence of the Order of Augustinian Recollects in Argentina.
An encounter that renews history
In statements to Recoletos.org, Friar Fernando Ferreira, OAR, underscores the value of this gathering:
“As JAR youth, we want to join in celebrating the first centenary of the Recollect presence in Argentina by holding this major youth event, ENJAR.”
After 25 years since the last national encounter, preparing for ENJAR has required a joint effort by the national coordinators and local councils, who have worked intensively to make this project a reality. It is an initiative that, as the religious notes, “brings together the entire Recollect family present in Argentine territory.”
“I Will Sing”: joy and communion
To encourage this event, the young people of Santa Fe have created the anthem “I Will Sing”, a musical proposal that captures the spirit of the encounter. The song emphasizes the joy of shared faith and the gift of being a community “with one heart.”
The anthem expresses a deeply Augustinian experience: young people who, singing, praying and celebrating, proclaim Christ as brothers and sisters, walking together toward God.
Young talent at the service of evangelization
As a gesture of recognition for the gifts the Lord awakens in JAR youth, the organizers wished to highlight the authors of the work:

The city of Santa Fe will be the setting for this long-awaited encounter, which will bring together young people from across Argentina around Augustinian Recollect spirituality. Over three days, ENJAR will offer spaces for prayer, formation, fellowship and celebration, establishing itself as a key moment in the life of JAR youth.
