Ten young men from different countries. Ten stories marked by faith. Ten vocations that have left behind their homeland, their culture, their language, and often their own families, to follow Christ and proclaim the Gospel wherever the Church needs them.
In the coming weeks, they will receive—or have already received—priestly ordination within the Augustinian Recollect family. And with it begins a mission that knows no borders: to serve, evangelize, and bring hope to so many places in the world where the name of Jesus needs to be proclaimed.
They did not choose the easy path. They chose to dedicate their lives.
Young men who leave everything to follow Christ
Some will be sent to simple parishes; others to missions, schools, social projects, or communities far from their country of origin. All have something in common: they have bravely and generously answered “yes” to God.
They have left behind security and comfort to embrace a life dedicated to the Gospel. These are young men who believe it is worthwhile to spend their lives for Christ and for others. Young men who continue to demonstrate that God keeps calling and that there are still hearts willing to respond without fear.

We want them to feel that they are not alone. That behind every new priest there is a Church that accompanies them, an Order that sustains them, and thousands of people who pray that they may never lose the joy of their vocation, the passion for the Gospel, and the desire to serve others.
In the coming days, we will introduce each of these new Augustinian Recollect priests: their names, their stories, and also their missionary dreams. And we want to invite you to be part of this journey.
Today we ask you for something simple and powerful: pray for them.
Pray that they may be holy priests. Pray that they may never tire of proclaiming Christ. Pray that the world may discover, through their lives, that God continues to call and that there are still young people capable of leaving everything for the Gospel.
