Bogotá, D.C. – Last Saturday, November 22, the Coliseo of the Colegio Agustiniano Norte became the epicenter of faith and fraternity during the “Grand Concert for Hope”. The event, promoted by the Vocational Ministry of the Province of Our Lady of Candelaria, more than fulfilled its objective: to unite voices in praise and hands in solidarity.
An afternoon of talent and praise
From 5:00 p.m., attendees experienced an unforgettable day marked by music and testimony. The stage shone with the presence of the renowned Argentine Catholic singer-songwriter Pablo Martínez, who through his profound lyrics and charisma, invited all those present to renew their hope in God.
The musical quota was complemented by the energy and spirituality of Hakuna Group Music and the group Tinku, who with their melodies managed to create an atmosphere of prayer, joy and community celebration, typical of the Augustinian Recollect charism.
A song for the Mission
Beyond the artistic spectacle, the heart of the event beat for a noble cause. The main purpose of this meeting was to raise funds to support the JAR missionaries who will accompany the Mission of the Order in Cuba in December.
This missionary project is not only material aid, but a vital commitment: the resources will allow a group of religious from the Province, accompanied by vocational young people—the future of our Order—, to travel to the island to bring the message of the Gospel, accompany the communities and be witnesses of Christian charity.
The Province of Candelaria deeply thanks all the attendees, collaborators and artists who joined this cause. Thanks to their generosity, “hope” ceased to be just the name of a concert to become a tangible reality that will soon reach the Cuban people.
Thank you for being part of this mission!
